The Captain's Grille, located on the Yacht Club side of the Yacht and Beach Club Resort might be one of the best kept secrets at the Disney World resort!  Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, this full service dinery offers tasty options at a more moderate price than some of the other WDW restaurants. 

The seating is colorful and comfortable.

 Some of the selections include:

A vegetarian Tomato and Fresh Mozzeralla Sandwich with an orzo side salad

Fish and Chips

Ceasar Salad

Clam Chowder

And - of course - a burger and fries; >)

For dessert, we got the no sugar added Chocolate Gelato, and it was YUM!

Even with dessert, our meals were in the $20 per person range, placing Captain's Grille high on the "affordable" list of full service eateries at Disney World.  And the food is tasting, making Captain's Grill an OLP reviewer's fave!

We recently enjoyed lunch at the Captains Grille in the Yacht Club. I had a tuna sandwich with clam chowder -good but nothing to write home about. Then we got th sugar free chocolate gelato for dessert - WOW!

We recently visited the Captain's Grille in the Yacht Club, this was previously known as the Yacht Club Galley.   Truth be told, the name seems to be just about the only change here, everything else is looking pretty much the same.  If anything has changed I think it might be the menu; I found my Angus Cheeseburger to be quite tasty (How can you go wrong with an Angus burge,r I ask you??) and the Soup of the day smoked corn chowder was also very palatable.  However, the definitive standout was the new No Sugar Added Gelato (key lime flavor I believe) which was truly exceptional in the world of sugarfree desserts Iin fact, this was my first ever sugar-free gelato and I was quite impressed!

I give it 4 stars, good food (5 with the Gelato!), ambience just ok(3). Read reviews by this author

We each had Reuben sandwiches here for lunch the other day, we found the Reuben's to be a bit above the average fare; although I must say that the Grand Floridian Reuben is exceptional by comparison!  The ambience here is nothing special and I don't think there is a booth to be had in the place.  Overall I would say this is a pleasant enough place to grab a slightly better than average sitdown meal. Convenient if you happen to be staying at the Yacht & Beach Club but I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to eat here... hence the 3 out of 5 rating which to me means nothing special.Read reviews by this author

This restaurant is one of Disneys best kept secrets... close to Epcot and moderately priced (for Disney; >). Its a great way to break from the parks for a tasty meal.Read reviews by this author
